The Michelin Latitude Tour HP is an all season touring tire made for SUV and crossover vehicles. It has some high performance sizes as well. Michelin offers a 45,000 mile tread wear warranty with W and Y speed rated sizes and a 55,000 mile tread wear warranty with the H and V speed rated sizes of this tire model. Excellent year-round traction is provided thanks to the specially designed symmetric tread pattern. This great traction includes light snow conditions as well and the 2D Active Sipes in the tread help to improve its rain and snow road grip. The tire's circumferential tread grooves eliminate water from beneath the tire's tread, enhancing its hydroplaning resistance. This tire offers a quiet and comfortable drive with the use of the Comfort Contact Technology in manufacturing it. The tire reduces the vibrations felt in the vehicle by maintaining constant contact with the road and following the surface area. The road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle is also lessened by the noise-absorbing, computer-optimized tread pattern. The tire's superb stability is due to the wide groove design of the tread pattern which offers highway and high speed stability. The same design also enhances the tire's steering responsiveness and precision, offering a superb road feel. The FAZ, or Filament At Zero Degrees, Technology also boosts the tire's ride quality and it maintains the shape, even at higher speeds, with reinforced filaments in the tire's tread area. The Latitude Tour HP reduces the rolling resistance and maintains a lower level of energy usage due to Michelin's Green X Technology. This reduced resistance of the tire lowers the vehicle's CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, making this an economic model in the process.
